KB-01
KB-01 is a custom mechanical keyboard I designed from scratch, with hot-swappable switches, an OLED display, and a rotary knob in a 3D-printed enclosure. The idea started after I damaged the circuit board of my Corsair K65 while trying to replace a faulty switch. I wanted a keyboard that was easier to repair and could include the features I actually wanted. The finished build combines a custom PCB and enclosure with illustrated keycaps, leaving the controller and display visible on the left side.

Converted from the project CAD. Colours are simplified; this is design geometry rather than a scan of the finished build. The source includes switches but not illustrated keycaps.
Hot-swappable sockets let me replace switches without soldering directly to the board. I documented the design and build process in the project repository, including the decisions and iterations behind the keyboard.
